Privacy Policy
Effective 2026-11-01
PogoHelp (pogohelp.app) is an unofficial fan site with no sign-up, login, comments, visitor analytics, ads or cookies, so it does not collect visitors' personal information. This policy explains what information is handled while you use the site, and what the operator's YouTube upload tool, "PogoHelp Upload", handles.
1. Personal information we collect
- Visiting the site: none. There is nowhere to enter information that identifies you, such as a name, email address or phone number.
- Email inquiries: if you email contact@pogohelp.app, we receive your email address and the name and content in your message. We use them only to reply, fix data errors and handle rights requests.
2. Information stored in your browser (cookies and local storage)
This site does not use cookies. The settings and records below are saved only inside your browser (local storage). They are never sent to a server, so the operator cannot see them either.
- Theme (light or dark) and reduce-motion settings
- Pokédex view (cards or list) and form filter
- My Pokédex checks (caught, shiny, lucky, 100%)
- The team you set up in the raid solo simulator
Clearing this site's data in your browser settings removes all of it. If you do not want anything saved, skip those features or use a private window.
3. Outside services used to run the site
To deliver pages and receive inquiry emails, the companies below process information. The operator does not collect or keep logs of individual visits.
| Company | What it does | Information processed | Country |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cloudflare, Inc. | Delivers and protects the site, forwards inquiry emails | Connection data (IP address, browser type, etc.), inquiry emails | United States |
| jsDelivr | Delivers the font files (Pretendard) | Connection data | Multiple countries (CDN) |
| Google LLC (Gmail) | The operator's mailbox (stores inquiry emails) | Inquiry emails | United States |
Inquiry emails are forwarded through Cloudflare to the operator's Gmail mailbox as soon as they are sent and are kept as described in section 4. If you do not want your email processed outside your country, simply do not send one; it does not affect your use of the site. Each company handles information under its own policy: Cloudflare Privacy Policy, jsDelivr Terms and Privacy, Google Privacy Policy.
4. Retention and deletion
- Inquiry emails: deleted promptly once handled, but kept for up to one year in case the same issue is reported again, then deleted.
- Information in your browser: stays only in your browser until you clear it (the operator keeps none of it).
- How we delete: emails and files are permanently deleted so they cannot be restored.
5. The YouTube upload tool (PogoHelp Upload) and YouTube API Services
"PogoHelp Upload" is a tool used only by the operator. It uses YouTube API Services to upload videos as private to the operator's own three YouTube channels (the Korean channel, @PogoHelp and @PogoHelp-JP) and to set their thumbnails, captions and playlists.
- Information handled: the access the operator granted with their own Google account (an authorization token), basic information about those channels (channel ID and name), and the videos, thumbnails, captions and playlists uploaded to them. The tool does not access anyone else's Google account or YouTube data, and no one other than the operator signs in to it.
- Storage and sharing: the authorization token is stored only in a settings file on the operator's computer. It is not sent to this site or anywhere else, not shared with anyone, and not used for ads or analytics.
- Revoking access: you can revoke the tool's access at any time on the Google Account security settings page (third-party apps with account access). When access is revoked, the token file on the operator's computer is deleted as well.
- The tool's use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
- Use of YouTube API Services is also subject to the YouTube Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
6. Your rights
If you have emailed us, you can ask to see, correct or delete your information, or ask us to stop processing it. Send your request to contact@pogohelp.app and we will act on it within 10 days and let you know the result.
7. Security measures
- We handle only the information we need (the site collects no personal information).
- Inquiry emails are kept in a mailbox only the operator can access.
- Secrets such as authorization tokens and deploy keys are kept only on the operator's computer and in private settings, never in the code repository or on the site.
- The site is served over HTTPS only.
8. Privacy officer and contact
- Privacy officer: the PogoHelp operator
- Contact: contact@pogohelp.app
The site is run from Korea. You can also contact the Korean authorities: the Personal Information Infringement Report Center (privacy.kisa.or.kr, 118 within Korea) and the Personal Information Dispute Mediation Committee (www.kopico.go.kr, 1833-6972).
